I am Noah's mom-Tara and I would like to dedicate this site to him, and all other special needs kids and their special families all over the world.

Noah was born weighing only 1.5 lbs when I was 6 months pregnant. Although he had a 50 percent chance of surviving, his little soul was meant to be here because he fought with every ounce of strength he could muster for 100 days in the hospital. After only a few weeks of life, Noah was diagnosed with severe brain damage. At the age of two the official diagnosis was severe, spastic quadreplegic Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Cortical Visual Impairment and Speech Impairment. However, Noah is normal cognitively. We aren't sure if this is a blessing or not since Noah understands everything and has the same wants as any other child, but is trapped in a body that won't work.

Noah is my gift from God, to love, cherish and raise until God wants him back. He is my responsibility, not something to be thrown away or given up on. I fell in love with Noah the second I found out I was pregnant, and no matter the circumstances around his birth or physical challenges, I know that his soul is perfect and he was given to me for a specific reason. Today, Noah continues to thrive and grow and I truly appreciate the joy and love that this boy has brought into the world.

I want this site to encourage those who live or work with special needs. I welcome your presence on this blog and I hope you are comforted along your special journey!
